TEAM boss Cami Brown wants his side to “find an extra level” against Berwick.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers take on the Bandits at Ashfield on Friday and then at Shielfield Park on Saturday night.
They are two crucial Cab Direct Championship clashes in the race for the play-offs.
Brown said: “It’s a tough 48 hours but I want to the boys to find an extra level to get the results against the Bandits.
“Berwick are definitely not a team to underestimate. They have enough firepower and are capable of getting a result anywhere. It’s also interesting to see them add Jonas Jeppesen to the squad.
“Obviously we are targeting full points from both meetings but it won’t be easy.
“However, I believe we can pull that off. It’s important for our boys to get some laps in. I feel that Villads (Nagel) and the reserves can push on a bit more now.
“I’ve been so impressed by their constant hunger to produce for the team.”
The Tigers unfortunately go to Shielfield on Saturday without three riders. Dan Thompson, Leon Flint and Nagel are all in action for their countries in the European Under-24 team final in Macon, France.
Brown added: “That’s obviously a big blow. But we have good guests and enough strength to get the result we want. Berwick are depleted as well. So we go there with a positive attitude.”
