GLASGOW are in the semi-finals of the Championship Shield after a commanding 47-43 win at Edinburgh tonight.
The Tigers only needed a draw to emerge from their group but took three in a meeting they controlled from the start – their third win on the road already this season.
Craig Cook top scored on 14 but all bar James Sarjeant, who was excluded in his third and final ride, contributed important points – winning more than half the races between them.
Glasgow now host Scunthorpe tomorrow in the SGB Championship aiming to continue their excellent start to tthe campaign, ramped-up 7pm.
