GLASGOW boss Cami Brown vowed his side “will improve” after a below par defeat at Scunthorpe.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers lost 54-36 in the Cab Direct Championship at the Eddie Wright Raceway.
It was their second heaviest defeat of the season but Brown believes they will go up a gear.
He said: “We were probably always up against it tonight going into the meeting missing two of our own riders.
“We didn’t have Marcin Nowak or Ace Pijper and you need to be firing on all cylinders at a place like Scunny.
“We won here earlier in the season in the BSN Series but fair play, the Scorpions were excellent on this occasion.
“Every single one of their guys found their best form and we had a few guys nowhere near their usual scoring power. Lee Complin also had more bike problems.
“Maybe it has been a long week, this was the fourth away meeting for us in six days. The guys battled hard and it was an exciting meeting but the tough run has taken its toll on men and machines really.
“I felt Scunthorpe perhaps had a few decisions go their way but overall they were the better side and it’s a disappointing result.
“We can now regroup for our next meeting on September 8 with new signing Vadim Tarasenko in the side. We have hugely exciting times ahead and we will improve.”
