GLASGOW boss Cami Brown knows his side are in for a “tough test” at league leaders Poole.
The Cab Direct Championship top two clash in a blockbuster encounter at Wimborne Road tonight (Wednesday).
The Allied Vehicles Tigers go to Dorset without Leon Flint (shoulder injury) and Villads Nagel (racing in Denmark). Joe Thompson and Danyon Hume have been drafted in as guests.
Brown admits: “It’s always tough test going to Poole, they’ve won three of the last four league titles.
“However we are the only club to have stopped them since they returned to the Championship.
“We know we can get results at Poole. We just have to make sure we are firing on all cylinders.
“It’s never easy racing with guests. But we have got two riders in Joe and Danyon who I know will give it everything for the Tigers.
“I also have massive faith in our top three as being one of, if not, the strongest in the league.
“Chris Harris and Kyle Howarth are never-say-die guys who know Poole very well. Both have ridden for the Pirates.
“Dan Thompson has been one of the stand-out riders in the Championship this season.
“Poole, as usual, are a very good side. That’s why they are top of the league. But we are also a very good side. It all adds up to a cracking meeting.”
