TIGERS boss Cami Brown has urged his side to “step it up” for a huge 48 hours of action.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers face two crucial away clashes in the Cab Direct Championship, starting at Edinburgh tonight.
Then it’s to Plymouth tomorrow (Sat) for another tie which could determine the play-off place fate.
Brown said: “It’s probably the most important 48 hours of the season so far for us. The boys really need to step it up now.
“We really need to pick up something from these two fixtures to force ourselves back into the play-off reckoning.
“These are our meetings in hand and we have to capitalise on them.
“It’s extremely close for the top four places and it’s likely to go to the wire this month.
“Obviously our focus is on the local derby right now. They are always huge fixtures for the fans.
“We have had our backs-to-the-wall a bit lately and that remains the same when we go to Armadale.
“Steve Worrall is still missing with Labyrinthitis and Jason Garrad is out with his injured shoulder. Anders Rowe and Matt Marson come in to cover.
“Edinburgh have looked far more solid over the past few weeks so we have a big task to get a result. But the derbies always bring out something extra from us.
“That’s what we will be looking for again. If we can deliver over the next 48 hours our destiny will remain in our own hands.”
