TEAM boss Cami Brown vows “now is the time” for his team to shine on the biggest stage.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers go to Poole tomorrow night (Wednesday) for the first leg of the Cab Direct Championship Grand Final.
It’s the third showpiece between the clubs in five years with the Pirates taking the title in 2021 and Tigers two years ago in Dorset.
Glasgow are the only side to stop Poole’s title run championships since returning to the second tier of the sport five years ago.
But Brown knows his side needs to find something special against the defending champs.
He said: “The Pirates have had the upper hand so far this season over us.
“But we’ve not been at full strength on any of those occasions. We will have a full team for the Grand Final and now is the time for our boys to shine.
“We have to find an extra level for the Final. The boys know that and they have to deliver.
“Poole have been the benchmark when it comes to winning titles and doing it when it counts.
“However we managed to do that two years ago and I believe we have the team to do the same job this time round.
“But we will need every rider to be on their game and deliver on both nights.
“We will have discussed extensively what is needed and we have a plan. Every rider knows their job.”
