GLASGOW boss Cami Brown admits his side face a “huge task” to outgun Poole.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers face the defending double champions for the second time in nine days at Ashfield on Sunday night (6pm).
But this time the home team are without both reserves Lee Complin and Ace Pijper.
Brown said: “It’s obviously a massive blow. Lee is getting married this weekend and it was a date agreed with us some time ago.
“But this Poole fixture we had to move to this date a few weeks a go, it was the only option left. It was the same with Ace, he is competing in the European Under-19 Championship in Slovakia.
“However we have brought in Connor Coles and Sam Hagon who we believe can do the same job as Lee and Ace.
“Connor has had a fabulous season with Berwick while it’s been a breakthrough year for Sam and he looked excellent at Ashfield in the British Under-21 final just a fortnight ago.
“It’s a huge task for the boys against Poole again. It was a strong result to beat them in the second leg of the BSN Final.
“But they will return with fresh knowledge of the track and feel they can get a win. They are always a dangerous side and all the boys will need to bring their A game.”
Brown admits he was delighted with the team’s last win over the Pirates but feels they need to go up a gear.
He added: “The boys still haven’t all fired on the same night at any time this season. I think we will need to find something special on Sunday evening. But we are capable of doing that and I’m confident we will.”
