TEAM boss Cami Brown says his side need to prove their “battling qualities” at Scunthorpe.
The Allied Vehicles Tigers face the Scorpions in the Cab Direct Championship at the Eddie Wright Raceway tonight (Friday).
Kyle Howarth returns from injury for Brown’s team and he knows it’s one of the toughest venues to get a result.
He said: “We are delighted that Kyle is back from the shoulder injury. He’s a former Scunthorpe rider and knows how to get round the place.
“Chris (Harris) and Kyle finished one and two in the Championship Riders’ title earlier in the season at Scunthorpe, so we hopefully have the spearhead to do the job.
“But all the boys will need to produce battling qualities and be at their very best.
“It’s a very hard place to go. The Scunny lads have all the lines and there’s a big home track advantage. Their reserves have also been very strong this season.
“However we will give it everything as usual. I was delighted with the performance at Plymouth to get such an important win.
“We have certainly been getting strong every week. I feel like the spirit and balance in the squad is getting better all the time.
“To be honest, we’ve still not hit top form and there’s more to come from this side.”
